Open Positions

  • Commercial Superintendent

    Bingman Construction is seeking a motivated, hard-working construction superintendent to be an integral part of project management in the field. The Superintendent is responsible for monitoring, directing and controlling the daily operations of the construction site. The Superintendent will serve as the liaison between the sub-contractors and project management team.


    Qualifications


    Essential Skills and Responsibilities:


    • Provide, maintain, and oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure a clean and safe working environment
    • Maintain project schedules produced as a collaboration between director of operations, project manager, and superintendent
    • Scheduling, contacting, and presence during building inspections
    • Coordination and communication – specific to project and situation
    • Site specific direction of onsite labor and trades
    • Directing onsite critical path items with subcontractors and vendors to properly maintain schedule
    • Verify contractual scope of work for each subcontractor and vendors
    • Produce periodic punch lists throughout project duration to identify and record items that are needed for project completion
    • Maintain site regulations, verify that subcontractors and vendors are compliant with rules and regulations
    • Provide sundries as necessary to maintain site and project advancement
    • Hold and coordinate routinely scheduled site-foreman meetings with trades to maintain the design intent and schedule
    • Obtain and coordinate permits when work is involved within a public right of way
    • Assist the project manager in maintaining the project’s schedule and to control costs on the job site.
    • Monitor progress and quality as well as answer questions that may arise from subcontractors.
    • Facilitate coordination between trades as necessary to ensure the project’s schedule and quality is maintained.
    • Coordinate daily activities on-site and between the trades.
    • Document progress and generate requests for information to the Project Manager and architect if needed.
    • Ensure quality assurance and customer satisfaction is maintained throughout the construction process.
    • Direct the subcontractors and ensure that they are punctual.
    • Monitor and ensure safety on the jobsite.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


    • Minimum 5-10 years in mid to large scale projects
    • Renovation experience
    • Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications
    • Knowledgeable in building and construction
    • Knowledge in all areas of construction from site development through delivery and acceptance
    • Knowledge of OSHA standards
    • Ability to supervise
    • Ability to schedule and multitask
    • Ability to compile reports
    • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel
    • The working knowledge of Procore is a plus

  • Business Development Manager

    Bingman Construction is seeking a motivated, hard-working Business Development Manager to be an integral part of our sales team. The BDM is responsible for helping our company obtain better brand recognition and financial growth. The position coordinates with company executives and our marketing team to review current market trends in order to propose new business ideas that can improve revenue margins. The BDM acts as the first point of contact, responds to RFPs and vendors, and generates sales in new territories.


    Qualifications


    Essential Skills and Responsibilities:


    • Develop annual plan that meets the business goals and update the plan on a regular basis to reflect progress and market shifts
    • Qualify potential opportunities early in the cycle and manage that process to ensure the pursued activities are timely and sales expectations are met.
    • Control the leads and contact resource management system and track progress
    • Provide realistic forecasts to leadership and notify of any significant changes
    • Review ongoing opportunities with managers to prioritize and pursue opportunities
    • Build relationships at multiple levels and across platforms
    • Prepare for sales calls with objectives and allocate time to understanding the customers’ business challenges
    • Respond to customer requests, resolve critical issues, and meet commitments in a timely manner
    • Develop sales strategies and qualify opportunities

    Knowledge Skills and Abilities:


    • Bachelor’s Degree (Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management is a plus)
    • Communication Skills
    • Business Requirements and Knowledge of A/E/C industry
    • Construction Sales Experience (3 years with success)
    • Customer Relationship Management 
    • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel

  • Senior Project Manager

    Bingman Construction is seeking a motivated, hard-working Senior Project Manager to be an integral part of our project team. The Senior Project Manager's responsibilities is to manage relationships with key stakeholders, create benchmarks for success and deliverables (including managing budgets) and plan work assignments that meet deadline requirements while considering changes in budget or scope during the execution of the contract.


    Qualifications


    Principal Responsibilities:


    • Oversee project management team and manage the day-to day operations
    • Ability to make decisions that consider both schedule and budgets
    • Effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors
    • Manage scope review process
    • Negotiate change orders
    • Manage permit and occupancy with government agencies
    • Manage and update budgets
    • Conduct regular status meetings with project team
    • Deliver projects on time and within company profit targets

    Pre-construction

    • Develop and maintain the bid/estimate process
    • Qualify bids through scope review and prior work
    • Produce contractual documents that fulfills the intended scope of work
    • Develop buyout budget and maintain throughout completion of project
    • Develop project schedule
    • Clearly communicate to client
    • Produce the submittal log and oversee this approval process so there are no delays to the schedule

    Construction

    • Coordinate and run routine meetings with client, subcontractors, and the design team
    • Provide costs on an ongoing basis for any client directed change and clearly communicate to subcontractors how to proceed with those changes
    • Develop progress reports on a monthly basis as a client deliverable, which will update the overall costs, schedule, and forecasting
    • Maintain the standard quality control for the project
    • Develop progress billings, subcontractor/vendor invoices, and maintain subcontractor CO’s
    • Develop and maintain the safety protocol, MSDS, and OSHA guidelines for the project
    • Heavily coordinate with the Superintendent to ensure safety, quality control, costs, and schedule
    • Ability to effectively communicate with all parties involved with the project

    Post Construction

    • Ensure all subcontractors/vendors have provided closeout documents and warranty information
    • Organize, package, and deliver to client the Operation and Maintenance manuals
    • Set up training sessions with facility members
    • Follow up with client to maintain the relationship

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


    • Bachelor’s Degree (Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management is plus)
    • Project Management 10+ years required
    • Design-Build Experience
    • Customer Relationship Management
    • Ability to make decisions in a timely manner with integrity
    • Microsoft Suite Software Proficient
    • Working knowledge of Procore and Buildr is a plus

  • Bookkeeper

    Bingman is hiring someone comfortable dealing with complex financial data to be a bookkeeper. As a bookkeeper, you will help us in recording and maintaining daily financial transactions, performing reconciliations, assisting accountants in preparing financial statements and closing books, running payroll, collecting debts and making payments.


    Qualifications


    Principal Responsibilities


    • Maintaining records of financial transactions by posting and verifying
    • Defining bookkeeping policies and procedures
    • Developing systems to account for financial transactions by establishing a charts of accounts
    • Reconciling entries to balance subsidiary accounts
    • Maintaining a balanced general ledger
    • Preparing a trial balance for the accountants
    • Ensuring compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements

    Bookkeeper Educational Qualifications


    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline
    • Previous bookkeeping experience preferred
    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment

    Skills Required


    • Basic accounting knowledge
    • Understanding of industry benchmarks in accounting best practices
    • Knowledge of IFRS, U.S. GAAP or other industry standard accounting frameworks
