Every Incident is Preventable
At BINGMAN Construction Company, we believe that every incident is preventable. Every one of our colleagues, partners and subcontractors has stop-work authority. If it’s not safe, we don’t do it.
We reinforce this philosophy through a combination of technical field procedures, ongoing training, and a Life Critical Requirements program focused on activities that could be life-threatening when not executed according to published procedures.
The safety of workers on every construction site is of paramount importance to us.
BINGMAN’s EMR (Experience Modification Rating) is kept below 1.0 as a result of our training and procedures. This rating is used by the insurance industry to calculate premiums based on the number of worker’s compensation claims. It’s often referred to being a safety “credit score.” BINGMAN’s rating verifies us as a company safer than most, allowing us to secure the most highly skilled labor available.
Public Safety
Public safety is a critical part of project planning. We work with all appropriate agencies to improve standards not only on individual projects, but also on a national level. Our safety plans incorporate traffic safety, right of way, and material and equipment flow to and from the work site.
Every plan incorporates contingencies relating to severe weather, isolated locations, and less than ideal work environments. Our goal is to ensure public safety while minimizing traffic disruptions to the community.
